P2252 EasyMount SliderAPETURE SIZE: 4.775x22.02 MM | Area = 1.0 cm²Designed for Rat Intestional Tissues
The P2252 EasyMount Slider has an oblong 4.8 x 22 mm aperture and is designed for mounting intestinal tissues with a surface area of no less than 1 cm² and for use with EasyMount P2250 Chambers. Composed of a top clear and bottom white segment. Tissues are mounted by pressing the tissue over short, curved pins lining a matching aperture on the slider.
The aperture has a surrounding recess to minimize edge-effect caused by minimal compression from mounting. The large surface area is useful when performing ion flux or drug permeability studies. The large surface area also maximizes detecting endogenous peptide secretion from the lumen or from the basolateral side.

The P2400 EasyMount Low Volume System is designed for the study of transport in tissues where low net transport quantities or assays requiring higher solute concentrations are involved. This system accommodates various tissue sizes and operates within a low-volume chamber environment.
The system includes the EasyMount base unit, P2400 low-volume chambers (with working volumes ranging from 0.8 mL to 5 mL per chamber half), and a selection of tissue sample holders (one per chamber). A range of holders is available, supporting small tissue samples such as human intestinal or nasal mucosal biopsies, mouse pup intestine, cornea, and larger tissues up to 0.71 cm² (9.5 mm diameter). Custom holders can be fabricated to suit specific tissue requirements. Note that P2400 series sliders are sold separately from the system.
